I hired a replacement. For my PA. She seems great.

House
Good work.

Cuddy
You too. Your pacient is going home tomorrow.

House
He doesn't have a home.

Cuddy slowly starts walking in Houses direction.

Cuddy
You want to grab a bite to eat?

House
So Wilson got to you too.

Cuddy stops walking.

Cuddy
No. This is just me.

House
Lucas?

Cuddy
Working late.

They both pause.

Cuddy
(smiling)
I'm buying.

House
Not that hungry.

Cuddy
(loses the smile)
Okay.

Cuddy turns around and starts walking away. Stops at the door again, turns around.

Cuddy
I just want us to be friends.

House

House and Cuddy look at each other for a moment. Cuddy turns around and leaves the room. House rubs his right leg. Looks at the pill bottle on top of his desk. Opens a drawer, takes out a bottle of whiskey and pours some in a cup. He drinks from it.
